On October 24th, we celebrate World Polio Day.
UNITED AGAINST POLIO
Events and solidarity sports races worldwide against polio, organized by Rotary Clubs.
Rotary has been working intensively on the GPEI since 1985, and we are very close to achieving the goal of eradicating polio worldwide.
It is organized by Spanish Rotary Clubs.
It aims to raise funds to vaccinate more than 50,000 boys and girls against polio.
100% of donations are allocated to vaccination efforts.
Contribute to Rotary International's 'End Polio Now' campaign.
The race is completely flexible, allowing participants to walk, run, cycle, or ride a motorcycle, and choose the distance in kilometers.
And you can do it either in person by signing up for a pre-organized race or event, or virtually on your own.
You can also contribute with a donation and encourage your friends and family or spread the word on your social media
The project is related to Millennium Goal 3: Health and Well-being.
